The roots of my music started in the neighbourhood that I grew up in. My First experiments were inspired by personal experiences in the urban ghettos. In the summer of 1987 I began writing Iyrics and recording Hip Hop with other artists in a humble basement studio.

In the summer of 1993 I created a funk band by the name of Vox Pop. This new level of live, more sophisticated performance generated a new interest. Taking care of the band's responsibilities became a full time job. In the four years together, my position as lead vocalist consisted of; renting studio time & equipment, booking events, and promotions. During my time with Vox Pop I received a $5,000.00 Factor grant for the production of the cassette, 'The Calm Before The Storm'. The band was also featured on a compilation CD, "In Out Thru". I learned a lot during that period, and continue to develop my music. I now DJ & MC at our Higer Sound events. I also continue to perform live, with beats provided by the DJ's. I am currently writing music, and working with computers to compose instrumentals.
